RULES OF USE

GUEST HOUSE MICaSA is situated in an old residential area in Kyoto. Every guest is required to comply with the following regulations to respect the local residents and ensure that all guests have a comfortable stay.

  1. The following acts are expressly NOT permitted within the facility.
    1. Using the facility by a greater number of people than the registered number.
    2. Smoking is prohibited in guest rooms, except in the designated areas.
    3. Changing the place of equipment and articles in the facility, or to modify, take outside the facility, or use such equipment and articles in ways other than originally intended.
    4. Any acts against the public order or good morals.
    5. Using hair coloring or de-coloring agents, etc., in the bathroom.
    6. Burning incense in the facility.
    7. For-profit activities.
    8. Usage of guest rooms for purposes other than accommodation.
    9. Meeting with visitors in the facility. Access the facility not intended for use by unregistered visitors.
    10. Usage of bathroom by a guest who is intoxicated and disorderly.
  2. The following items are strictly prohibited to be brought into the facility.
    • Animals, birds, etc. (except for guide dogs)
    • Statutory controlled substances including stimulants and narcotics.
    •  Combustible or inflammable explosives, volatile fuels and hazardous chemicals harmful to human health.
    • Bringing or usage of heating or cooking implements, laundry iron presses or such other electrical appliances.
    • Firearms and swords in the absence of a license, and such other articles.
    • Goods in conspicuously large quantities or of a heavy weight.
    • Odor-emitting articles.
    • Refuse or items detrimental to the facility hygiene.
    • Other items not permitted by us to be brought into guest rooms.
  3. General rules of the facility
    1. Please make sure that your door is locked when leaving the facility.
    2. Please do NOT touch fire-fighting equipment for safety.
    3. Please do NOT shout, sing loudly, make loud noises or gamble, coercive, speech or conduct, behavior corrupting of public morals.
    4. Please make sure to turn off the water after using a bathtub or sink.
    5. Please refrain from speaking in loud voices in the facility and near the entrance after 8 p.m.
  4. Valuables, deposited articles and lost belongings
    • We will not be responsible for any damages caused by loss or damage of your cash and valuables during your stay.
